  • Produced in the cold climate at 14,000-foot elevation, high-plateau wool is among the softest and finest in the world
  • 54 knots per square inch, but exact knot count may vary slightly with the yarn thickness and each artisan's technique
  • Ultra-thick yarns are refined and washed to bring out their natural softness and medium luster
  • Natural shading in the wool produces abrash variations in tone that are unique to each rug
  • Pile is hand sheared to a ¼" height
  • Finished with hand-serged edges and 1" fringe
